As a scholar of YPPB, it is a must for me to participate in NDP Camp every year during my studies. They provide us with many professional skills in order to prepare their scholars in getting into job market and as one of the way to improve our life.
The lecturers who taught us during NDP was really resourceful with working life and willingly to share their stories with us. So, I took the opportunities to ask him a few questions about Human Resource Management.

MBA vs MSc

Sudden thought; what is the differences between MBA and MSc in business?

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• executive-level ; course designed based for students with executive or management level experience.
• develop leadership skills and offer recognition of their expertise
• pre-requisite : at least 3 working experience
• courses : international business and global management challenges
• traditional MBA ; broad grounding in a variety business disciplines - can major in an area of interest.

Master of Science (MSc)

• beginning of career ; want to higher level qualification before entering job market

• builds on the soft skills gained at undergraduate level

• pre-requisite : no need to have any former work experience

• courses : more on developing analytical and technical skills such as theory of management, case studies

• typical MSc : taught over one-year, also can be part-time or distance learning

Future?

a note to myself.
This is me, Thinking about pursuing my studies in MBA at Edinburgh Business School. Currently, still have one semester to go to finish my BBA(Hons.) in Human Resource Management. As to apply to MBA, I still need to have at least 3 years working experience in managerial roles.  Besides that, I am thinking to take GMAT exam to add values to myself. Since there are years more to go, such time period might change my mind.
This is why I write this to myself. Do take action if you read this.
Whatever your situation now, be strong.  You know you can do it. And remember, all things happened for a reason. Do look at positive perspective. :)
