Internship for Business Studies Students Responsibilities

• The interns shall be exposed to overall retail operations through the hands-on experiences provided
• Areas of exposure such as Store Operations, Customer Care & Merchandise Management department
• To carry out survey or case study subject to Company's requirements
• To assist in all ad-hoc tasks assigned

Requirements

• Candidates must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Human Resource, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Retailing, International Business, Logistics or Hospitality Management; preferably with minimum CGPA 3.00
• Strong interpersonal skills - good personality & well-conversant in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Outgoing personality & keen for a challenge.
• Able to work in shift, on weekend & public holidays - subject to Company's requirements.

before this I shared about my first call from Mondelez which I am really not prepared to receive the call. and not yet do the research about the company. T_T basically the phone interview consist of a few basic question such as: awareness about the company introduce self access to the company Q&A so, after the first step, I found out this page ,  and I know there are four more steps to go if I passed the phone interview. wish me luck! ^^,

1st Call

hi all. yesterday, I started to send application to some companies. and I did that without any thinking (and now I am regretting my actions) i thought that if I apply on Friday, so I will have some time on weekends to do research about the company but one hour after that,, 

i got a callll...
blankly, I thought it was a call from my scholar guide.  so i answered without any hesitation. T_T and actually it was from Mondelez (M). the screening phone call doesn't goes well since i am super nervous and cant think properly. and also the line is a bit disturbing as I cant heard her clearly. the part that was really upsetting me because i don't know what to ask when she open for questions. after the call, then i think to ask a lot of questions. *cry* *cry*
so now, I need to do some research about how to handle your first time interview : either via phone call / video call or face to face.

Why I blog?

Hi there! Have you ever thinking why you start blogging? I believe there must be a reason behind one's action. ^_^
So, let me share my story. This blog was once filled with stories about my life. However this is not my first blog. Its the third as I remembered. Introduced by my closest friend that really into this IT thingy, I also develop some interest in making template for my own blog. As you can see now, after played with some codes and all the stuff, this is all I could do *can improve more*. Looking a bit childish but this is what interest me years before.
Able to retrieve this blog again *I forgot the password after months*, I had deleted all the content and start a new one. The reasons why I start to write again because:

MBA vs MSc

Sudden thought; what is the differences between MBA and MSc in business?

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• executive-level ; course designed based for students with executive or management level experience.
• develop leadership skills and offer recognition of their expertise
• pre-requisite : at least 3 working experience
• courses : international business and global management challenges
• traditional MBA ; broad grounding in a variety business disciplines - can major in an area of interest.

Master of Science (MSc)

• beginning of career ; want to higher level qualification before entering job market

• builds on the soft skills gained at undergraduate level

• pre-requisite : no need to have any former work experience

• courses : more on developing analytical and technical skills such as theory of management, case studies

• typical MSc : taught over one-year, also can be part-time or distance learning

Future?

a note to myself.
This is me, Thinking about pursuing my studies in MBA at Edinburgh Business School. Currently, still have one semester to go to finish my BBA(Hons.) in Human Resource Management. As to apply to MBA, I still need to have at least 3 years working experience in managerial roles.  Besides that, I am thinking to take GMAT exam to add values to myself. Since there are years more to go, such time period might change my mind.
This is why I write this to myself. Do take action if you read this.
Whatever your situation now, be strong.  You know you can do it. And remember, all things happened for a reason. Do look at positive perspective. :)
